DIY electronic cigarette "hot rod"

Good day to all ! I want to show you one of my creations, electronic style cigarette steampunk hot rod. All his crafts I do mostly from improvised materials from old unneeded things. So this time, the old Soviet mixer found its second life!))) And so good, la la went.

From the Soviet water tap I turned the “gander” from which I will make the body of my electronic cigarette. For convenience, while the part is large, I cleaned one side of the chrome and then cut off the spare part of the required length for my body homemade.

Then, from the same gander, I cut off another small part of the tube in order to deploy the battery in a horizontal position and leave the clearomizer in a vertical position, thereby adding uniqueness to my craft.

After which I began to produce pseudo engine cylinders, for this I took three spare parts from the Soviet contact group and, using an electric drill and needle file, gave them the shape of engine cylinders

to attach the cylinders I decided on the bolts for this, three holes were drilled in the body for mounting the cylinders

The cylinders are in place, now from a washer of Soviet origin!)))) (I honestly don’t know where she stood and what role she played) which ideally suited the size of the inner diameter of the gander pipe in which I drilled three holes for the future gas pipeline that I made from two millimeter copper wire.

After he soldered all the details and started making a button to turn on the cigarette. In order not to depart from the topic of "hot kind", I decided to make a button in the form of a gas pedal which, in my opinion, fits perfectly into the design of my homemade product. I made a movable mechanism (mini canopy) from a part from the Soviet contact group, which I sawed in half and filed out the necessary grooves for connecting them to each other.

In a small part of the canopy, I made a small cut in the center of the part into which I will later insert the spring so that the pedal automatically leans back after pressing the button

The pedal lever was made of sheet brass to which a part of the canopy was soldered and holes were made for the bolt to precisely press the pedal on the button on which actually attached the gas pedal pad and, as in the joke, was “carefully filed” to give it a suitable shape.

from a part of the same “gander” made a decorative pseudo “visor” (as in hot childbirth over glass) and from another part of the contact group made a cap on the opposite part of the body

Then he took a cigarette control board and soldered the wires to longer so that all the details could be connected in one.

Then, as always, to give an old look to your craft, using patches of ammonia we make a patina

And polish slightly without enthusiasm so as not to erase the patina

We collect all the details, insert the battery, fasten the pedal and voila "hot rod" is ready!)) Thanks to everyone who paid attention to my homemade product. Bye Bye!)))
