This homemade Looks a little funny, but it works!
Recently, the author of this homemade product began to shoot videos about his DIY projects.
After he published his first instructive video, he received many comments regarding the distance for shooting the video.
People suggested making a closer video so that the details of the project process were visible.
When the author launched his second recorded project, he was looking for a place where he could easily connect his phone to make a video with a top view.
The author decided to make a video project in the bathroom, and received permission for this work from his wife :-)
Another requirement was the ability to see in real time while recording video. That is, the actions performed during the project (for example, cutting, drilling, etc.) are always focused on the video frame ...
Since this stand turned out above his head when the author sits and works, he decided to add a mirror at an angle so that he can look at the phone screen from time to time.
Materials and tools:

- rotary table mirror;
- plastic clamps;
- self-tapping screws;
- scrunchy;
- a nut suitable in size to the handle of the shower stall;

Step One: A Place to Connect Your Phone
The author of the homemade product was looking for a place where it would be possible to easily connect his phone in the bathroom.
One thing caught the eye - the handle of the shower stall ...
He decided to disassemble the pen and use it to connect the phone stand.
Note. Using a shower can be risky because it is made of glass, and hitting the stand can break the glass. It is necessary to work very carefully!
Of course, you can connect a telephone stand in another room, to some of furniture, wall, etc.
Step Two: Making a Wooden Stand
To make the stand, the author took two wooden blocks of 20x40 millimeters in size that he had.
He connected them with screws at an angle of 90 degrees.
Step Three: Prepare the screw connection with the handle of the shower stall
He drilled a hole in a wooden block from the side that should be connected to the glass of the shower.
Then a nut was found that fits perfectly with the bolt on the handle of the shower stall. After that, he drilled a large hole, the size of a nut, over the previous hole and inserted the nut inside.
In the end, he secured the nut with two small screws to hold the nut inside.
That's all. Now the author has an uncomplicated stand available that can be easily screwed on and removed from the shower when needed. (again, carefully ...)
Step Four: Connecting the Stand to the Shower Stall
The stand is screwed to the glass of the shower with a handle.
Step Five: Connecting the Phone to the Stand
Using an elastic band for hair, the author connected the phone to the very edge of a wooden block.
Before starting the shooting, he checked that the work surface fits well in the video frame.
Step Six: Adding a Mirror to View the Screen During Operation
As already described in the introduction, the stand stands above your head when you have to sit and work. Therefore, it was decided to add a mirror at an angle so that from time to time to look at the phone screen, from below.
The author used an adjustable mirror and secured it to the bar with plastic clamps.
