I welcome fans to craft, today we will consider how to make a portable vacuum cleaner for the collection of construction waste. With this machine, you can easily collect wood or metal shavings, small screws, nuts and other parts. As the power unit, the 775 engine is used here, which can be powered from a voltage of 12-24V. You can order such a motor from China, they are used to make a variety of home machine tools. 775 engines come in different capacities, the author uses a 288-watt motor. Vacuum cleaner manufacturing process:
Step one. Housing
First of all, the vacuum cleaner body is going to be assembled, for these purposes pipes, plugs for pipes and conical parts are used. We cut the materials, drill holes and glue them to epoxy glue, like the author. Depending on the type of materials you may need special glue for pipes.
The whole housing design consists of three sections, in the upper section there is an engine with an impeller, the middle section is a suction, and a suction hose is connected to it. Well, the lowest section is needed for garbage collection.
Step Two Engine installation
The engine needs to be installed in the upper part of the machine, for its fastening we make a special bracket, the author upgraded the already existing bracket for mounting the 775 motor. We fasten the bracket to the vacuum cleaner body with screws and nuts.
We install an impeller on the motor shaft using a special adapter. As planned, the turbine will have to draw air from the bottom of the vacuum cleaner. Of course, there is no fine filter here, so the machine can dust slightly.
Step Three Cap
We install a cover above the engine, we make it from a plug for pipes. In the plug you need to drill as many holes as possible through which air will escape. Thanks to this design, the engine will be cooled effectively.
Step Four Hose and filter
In the middle part of the vacuum cleaner, we drill a hole and glue an adapter for attaching a hose through which garbage will be sucked.
We also make a coarse filter that will prevent debris from flying out of the vacuum cleaner. Such a filter can be made from a piece of tulle or other material. Fasten the filter with rubber bands.
That's all, now the vacuum cleaner is ready, it can be powered by a 12V battery. The homemade product is ready, the car sucks up the garbage without problems, then you can get it later by removing the lower part from the vacuum cleaner. If you put a magnet in the case, it will help to automatically remove screws and other iron parts from the garbage.
