In the beginning, the master picked up suitable materials, his choice was walnut and bog oak. The main array of the mortar itself and the crusher will be from walnut. He cuts it on a circular saw.
Then he leveled two base surfaces on the jointer, and processed on a surface gage.
Next, I cut four square billets.
Now glued the workpieces and fixed with clamps. This will be the blank for the bowl.
The second two blanks are glued together for the crusher.
After the glue dries, the ends of the workpiece are cut off, and a bog oak detail is glued to its upper part.
The next stage, the master grinds a part of the cube, and expands.
The preliminary hole is drilled with a Forstner drill.
Next, the hole is bored and ground.
The master cuts the bottom of the bowl.
Then he polishes all the surfaces of the workpiece.
Now he cut four squares of stained oak and glued them to the bottom, it turned out a kind of legs.
The time has come to do the grinding of the pusher.
At the end of the work, all surfaces are soaked in linseed oil, the entire texture of the wood begins to appear.
