Many of you use stretch clothes dryers. But they do not have very high reliability, and often their holders simply break. This comes from the effects of the atmosphere and solar radiation on plastic.

Manufacturing process.
This is how the poor-quality holder from Turkish and Chinese manufacturers breaks up and crumbles. Yes, this does not happen right away, but after a few warm summer months. This plastic simply collapses when hard solar radiation hits it. Roughly speaking, these designs are not intended for use in the open air, or loggias.
So, the author decides to make a copy of such a holder from beech wood. First he marked the places for fastenings fixtures to Wall.
Then he marked the grooves for fixing the ropes, and drilled holes for the stoppers with Forstner drills.
At the moment, the workpiece looks like this.
The mounting holes the master is forced to shift a little higher.
The author drills blind holes for the heads of mounting screws,
Then he makes pilot holes with a thin drill.
Using a circular saw, grooves for the ropes are cut.
So, the main structural elements are sawn and drilled.
The mounting unit is almost ready, its faces must be processed with an orbital sander. You can also do this in any other way.
Since this product will be used in high humidity conditions, it must be protected against moisture. Flaxseed oil, Danish oil, paraffin, or regular beeswax are very suitable for this. There are a lot of ways to impregnate wood.
That's it, the replacement for the cheap plastic holder is made! Of course, the distance between the holes, and their number can be changed independently, depending on your tasks and needs.
