For a long time - for a long time I wanted to write a similar article about this amazing aircraft model. I don’t know about you, but I just look wildly at the flight of this model. So I was lucky to see this video, and even with a similar description of the construction of such a model, with which I want to introduce you.
The author talks with such love and humor about the construction of this model that involuntarily there is a desire to build it.
Although the author himself believes that the article is more of a review nature and only shows that building and packaging materials are suitable for building models and can please the author and his environment.
The author began by printing the drawings on an A4 printer, cut out the templates, glued them and figured the placement of the electronics directly on them.
It turned out the desired scale. According to these patterns, the author cut out all the details from the ceiling tiles (ceilings).
I cut the necessary slats from wooden, student rulers.
The wings are made of two layers of the ceiling, inside of which a spar made of a wooden ruler is glued.
I understand the type of this.
The author made some structural elements from fruit plywood, which is stronger than the ceiling, according to the author.
Glued all the blanks. The author wanted to make a voluminous Gargrot, as the author put it - just for beauty.
Ailerons are hung. For this, loops are made of plastic ribbons.
The author applied the universal, waterproof “Titan” glue to glue the details of the model.
It was the turn to decorate model colored tape.
The author does not insist on repeating the same coloring of the aircraft model and believes that this is a matter of fantasy.
Photo electronics for this model.
Unfortunately, the author does not indicate the dimensions of the model and does not list the electronics, but indicated that the battery used 3S 1500.
Model weight.
Wingspan.
The author made decals on an inkjet printer and glued them with transparent tape.
Final assembly of the model and verification of angles.
Traction are made, which are made of bamboo skewers and pieces of paper clips.
The model is ready.
In his article, the author makes a small remark. In which the author tells how, after an unsuccessful flight, he had to repair the model. He made a cab lantern and an engine hood using bottle technology. Having carved out forms from a tree on which he made a cabin and a hood by heating plastic bottles.
Video about the model and its flight.
I am very sorry that the author was greedy and took few photos of the construction process, and could have described it in more detail.
This concludes my story and says goodbye to you.
Goodbye your Valerian master.
