Surely many of you have been repairing your apartment or house yourself, and appreciate various interesting ideas for finishing techniques for decorating facades and walls.
In this article, the author of the DecoMasteR * Pervomaisk YouTube channel will tell you about the way of decorating the walls in the form of a “wild stone”.
This technique is quite simple to implement, and almost everyone can repeat it. In addition, the wild stone itself is not required, a simple glue for the tile will be enough.

Manufacturing process.
So, the author made the body of the well from aerated concrete blocks, and decided to beautifully design it.
Having mixed a solution of tile adhesive, he applies it to the prepared surface with a layer about 1 cm thick. The surface does not need to be perfectly leveled, even bumps must be left.
With small surfaces, the thickness of the layer can be easily controlled with a spatula corner. To design large surfaces, you should use beacons.
The master allowed the glue to dry for several hours, but did not let it harden completely, it depends on weather conditions.
Then he applies the markup with a screwdriver.
Now the contours of the stones are simulated. The width of the "seams" is about 10 mm, to your taste.
The first stage is completed, and the glue is left to dry, preferably for several days.
At the second stage, a water-based facade paint will be required, to which colorizers should be added.
Here in such colors he paints a surface of glue.
The seams themselves are stained with the same paint, but already black.
After the paint dries, the author paints the surface with a dark alcohol-based stain. So the surface becomes even more like natural sandstone.
The stain has dried up, and you can select the texture of the stone with a hard brush and beige paint.
But such decorative elements were made with a regular nail, stain perfectly distinguished them from the general background.
One side of the well is already painted with water-based acrylic varnish, it remains to paint the remaining walls in two layers. Of course, you can use a regular yacht varnish, but it costs more.
Here is the result obtained after drying the varnish. Note that this technique allows you to simulate large stones at the corners, which is simply impossible to achieve using a wild stone.
