Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Heating element
The author has already cut all the details for the manufacture of the case in advance, the dimensions can be seen in the photo. We assemble a part of the body with the help of superglue and proceed to the installation of the heating element. As a basis, the author used an aluminum radiator from electronics, it already had the necessary places for installing a heater.
A piece of nichrome wire 1 mm thick served as the heating element, the author cut a piece of just over 10 cm. To prevent the wire from being shortened by an aluminum radiator, it must be inserted into a heat-resistant insulating tube. Well, then we mount the heating element on the radiator. To connect the wires to the heater, we use special clamping connectors.
Step Two Voltmeter
We install a voltmeter in the case, the author cut a corresponding hole for it. According to the voltage indications on the battery, you can determine the degree of battery charge, and also figure out how many more packages you can solder.
Step ThreeSetting the filling
Inside the case is the battery charging module. There is an LED on the module so that the glow can be seen, the author pasted a piece of acrylic inside.
There is also a compartment for installing the 18650 battery inside. To mount the charger, we mount model in a convenient place and as a result, the micro-USB port will stick out.
We install in a convenient place and a switch that will include all electronics. Do not forget to install the limit switch in the case.
Step Four Assembly and testing
We assemble the case, the author glued it all with superglue, it will not be necessary to disassemble the case if there are no breakages. We install a clamping cover through the window hinge, and as a clamp we use a piece of a square pipe of small diameter or something similar.
Between the cover and the main we put a small spring. The author glued all the details using superglue.
Homemade ready, you can experience. We put the edge of the bag on the heating element and press on top of the lid. The machine will turn on and the nichrome wire will start to heat up, after a while you will feel how the lid has been sold, everything, now the package is soldered. Everything works fine, the homemade work turned out to be useful if you need to pack small details.
