The hinged washstand can be used both in the country and in the garage and in any other room where there is no direct access to the water supply.
For its manufacture, we need a wooden block 20x45x3000 mm, furniture corners no more than 45 mm wide, 4 pieces, m5 bolts 30 and 50 mm long with appropriate nuts and washers in size, two plates for fixing the structure to the wall, a plastic sink (in this case, it is used sink 42x36 cm in size), wash-hand basin, some paint, a hacksaw and a drill with a drill of 5 mm.
Cut off: 3 bars 50 cm long, 2 36 cm, 2 38 cm long.
Next, we take a bar 38 cm long, we attach a furniture corner to it, mark the place of the hole, drill with a drill and fix the corner with nuts and washers.
The corner is slightly offset towards the edge of the bar so that the hole is centered.
Similarly, we repeat all the operations for the other end of the bar.
Next, we attach a bar 36 cm long to the resulting structure and mark the holes.
We drill a hole and fix it. Similarly the other end of the bar. We get as a result:
We fasten the bar 50 cm long to the free ends of the 36 cm bars.
We drill two holes in the two remaining bars 50 cm long, departing from the edge by about 3-4 cm.
We fix them to the structure obtained above from the side of the bar 50 cm long as shown in the photo.
We get as a result:
We fix to the upper ends of the plate for installing the washbasin on the wall.
Set the remaining bar 38 cm long to the resulting structure.
The washbasin frame is ready. Now you can paint it. Hang the washstand and insert the sink itself.
The cost of all materials was not more than 400 rubles. The result is a light, durable, very reliable and easy-to-use washbasin sink.
