All terrain vehicle It was assembled on an individual order and the main assembly criteria were the simplicity and comfort of traveling in a crushed area.
An all-terrain vehicle is capable of carrying cargo up to 600 kilograms by land and half as much by water. Designed for 2-6 people.
The maximum speed is 50 km / h.
The minimum speed is 2 km / h.
Speed on the water? km / h
Fuel consumption from 20 to 35 l / 100km. depends on off-road conditions
Materials and assemblies used in the construction of this all-terrain vehicle:
1) internal combustion engine from a VAZ-2108
2) gearbox from VAZ-2108
3) military bridges from UAZ
4) steering column from gas-69
5) hydraulic brakes with vacuum booster
6) UAZ springs used as a suspension
7) UAZ worm gear
8) electric power fret Prior.
9) 25 liter fuel tank
A little about the construction and structural elements of the all-terrain vehicle:
Of particular note is the organization of the clutch drive on the gearbox.
A similar design is not used on the first all-terrain vehicle and has established itself well. The hydraulics and the clutch drive were taken from the VAZ 2108, in the pedal assembly the main cylinder was also from the vase, and on the gearbox housing the working cylinder was from the same donor. Thanks to a similar layout, the pedal is quite lightweight when pressed, but conveniently controlled:
The in-line engine has a rather high center of gravity, so the frame is made wide so that the machine is stabilized when overcoming obstacles. On steep climbs it feels especially good that the center of gravity is shifting closer to the rear axle of the all-terrain vehicle, in fact it would be possible to centralize the center of gravity and fix a similar flaw, but the customer for whom the author created this machine preferred a different, more compact arrangement of the gearbox, steering column and the engine itself.
In addition, the task of making an all-terrain vehicle under the mountainous terrain was not, since it will be operated on the flat territory.
In any case, because of the wide main base, it will be difficult to roll over on an all-terrain vehicle, in addition, the all-terrain vehicle was created for trains through the forests, since the customer is a hunter. rear-wheel drive layout just gives both compactness and width with a long body, and weight distribution on the water is much more convenient, but it was more important.
The link with the cables was taken from Daewoo Matiz, as this is the most affordable kit in the author's city. In addition, this kit is very convenient and cheap. A bracket is fixed to the gearbox housing, and on it is a rocking axle, then there is a cable that rotates the translator. On the axis of the gearbox there is also a sleeve with a cable, and the elements are interconnected by a slider.
The all-terrain vehicle feels great on the water, landing with a load on the back of the all-terrain vehicle frame, and in front just above the frame.
Due to customer preferences, all units inside the all-terrain vehicle are compact enough, therefore, the tank was used for only 25 liters, but this does not interfere with carrying spare cans of fuel in the trunk with the intention of a long trip.
