This karakat was built for fishing trips, hunting, as well as use for household needs, such as the delivery of firewood. All terrain vehicle designed for two people, and can also carry goods weighing up to 250 kilograms.
To build an all-terrain vehicle, the author used the following details:
1) engine from a motorcycle IZH-Planet 5
2) bridges from the car Muscovite 412 with a gear ratio of 4.22
3) SZD reducer
4) Cameras and tires from t-150
5) wheels from gas-52
6) gearbox from Oise
7) stars on 20 teeth and others
8) chains in increments of 19 and 25.4, as well as a chain from Izh motorcycle
Let us consider in more detail the main stages of the construction of the all-terrain vehicle and the nodes of its structures.
A transfer case was made from a wheelchair gearbox.
The transition of the SHRUS to the flange was made quite simply: a washer was machined, which was put on the cut-off shaft of the SHRUS grenade, and then scalded on both sides.
The wheels of the all-terrain vehicle are made of t 150 cameras measuring 530 by 610, the tires from the same tractor were lightened. The disks were made on the basis of gas disks 52 and pipes 1/2 inch.
The tire was lightened, 4 layers of the main cord were left. The tire thickness along the treadmill and up to half of the sidewall became 6-7 mm. A thickening is left in the place of fastening the belts. Tire weight is 36-37 kilograms. the wheel assembly itself, consisting of a camera, a disk, a flipper, a tire, weighs about 70 kilograms.

This tire was made of radial rubber, the difference from the diagonal only in durability. The processing complexity is approximately the same for both types of rubber. In the photos of the wheels, the old flipper is visible, in the new version it goes under the tire.
The steel beam was cut off along with part of the tire. The effort on the winch is not large. A winch is needed only to wrap the rubber at 180 degrees, and then the author used a boot knife and soapy water. At a time cost of 3-4 hours a day, the author made one tire per week.
The straps that secure the tire to the disc were made of a drive belt. The thickness of one strap is 6-8 mm, the width is 5-6 centimeters. The straps themselves are mounted on m6 bolts. Replacing a camera is even faster than replacing a trackball wheel.
For a long time operating the all-terrain vehicle, there were only two punctures of the cameras, both between the disk and the tire. The straps, however, withstand loads and did not break.

Prior to modernization, there was a reverse transfer case on the karakat, which was assembled from the body of the motorcycle stroller of the szd and the insides of the szd itself, as well as the ant scooter.
After the second box was installed from UAZ 469. Thanks to this modernization, the maximum speed of the all-terrain vehicle increased from 40 kilometers per hour to 60 kilometers per hour on a flat surface.
A star from the rear wheel of the motorcycle Izh-Planet Sport is mounted on the driveshaft. It is sandwiched between the two flanges of the universal joint and the shaft of the bridge with standard four bolts. The number of teeth on the star is the same as on the standard one. Vulnerabilities in the transmission are strong wheel rises. Overload of the all-terrain vehicle also negatively affects the integrity of the axle shafts.
When working in tandem with an additional gearbox, engine power from Izh is fully enough. Without an additional box, it would be quite difficult to transport heavy loads, especially in marshlands. that is, without an additional gearbox, the author would not be able to get out for picking berries, which naturally did not suit him and he installed the box. The only thing that does not suit the engine is that the pistons are very worn out, they last for a maximum of two seasons with the all-terrain vehicle operating continuously.

For the gearbox from Oise, two housings were machined for additional bearings and seals on the primary and secondary shafts. moreover, a thread was cut on the primary and secondary shafts to secure the hubs of the sprockets. The hubs themselves were also made into stars. Plus, a similar design for the author is that it is quite easy to find spare parts for the Oise in its area and at a relatively cheap price.
The chain from the box to the bridge does not stretch, the strength of the Izhevsk chain is enough. The chains were used in increments of 19 and 25.4, although the motorcycle chain is much better than conventional collective farms. In addition, the Izh motorcycle chain is sold in almost any specialized store. On the gearbox there are 20 teeth stars.

All-terrain vehicle has several disadvantages. The most obvious author considers the absence of downshifts. The second drawback is the not so strong reliability of the half shafts as we would like, although if you do not exceed the load of 250 kilograms, the half shafts can withstand it. The rest of the all-terrain vehicle has proven its reliability and quality and for many years of operation, the transmission of the all-terrain vehicle did not need major repairs or modernization.
