Almost all modern bicycles have a footboard, but it is not always convenient for her to use. The soil is too soft or lumpy and it is already difficult to put the bike on the bandwagon. Author homemade decided to make a portable bike holder. Such a holder is also convenient because it can be made exactly to the size of the tires of your bike, and as you know mountain bikes have wider tires, unlike track ones.
In order to make such a holder out of tools, the author used: tape measure, pencil, drill. In order to cut the corners correctly, you still need a miter saw or a jigsaw with an adjustable base plate. The following materials were taken: boards - 94 × 700mm-4pcs, 134 × 156mm-2pcs, bars - 94 × 356 32mm thick (for supports) - 2pcs, 94 × 188 32mm thick (for internal supports) -2pcs, 94 × 188mm diameter 20mm (also for internal support) -2pcs.
You will also need fasteners, PVA glue (for wood). To cover the top and sewn from atmospheric precipitation and fungus, the author used azure.

First, the author, using a miter saw, made blanks of the right size. Angles are sawn under 30 degrees.
Further, with the help of glue glues the side supports. Fastens with internal screws internal supports acting as exits (the ends should be at the same level with the edge of the side support).
Cutting to a length of 188 mm saws corners. It is worth paying attention that with the help of side supports the width of the aperture is regulated, therefore, you must first measure the thickness of the tire, and then select the thickness of the supports. The wheels of the bike should stand snugly in the holder.
Having fastened the parts with self-tapping screws, it fastens the side board.
Now it remains only to attach the support and cover with azure.
