Hello everybody.
LED illumination of plants is gaining more and more popularity around the world. LED light sources can replace natural lighting when growing any crops in artificial conditions. Tropical plants cannot be grown at all without illumination.
Since my winter garden was replenished with three types of tropical plants, the need came to build a new floodlight.
For him, I took a radiator from an old amplifier.
I screwed a 50 W full-spectrum matrix onto it through thermal paste. Matrix size
40 mm to 60 mm of the full spectrum 380 nm -840 nm at a voltage of 220 V.
My last 100 W lamp did not stand the test of time and began to bask more than 90 degrees Celsius. I removed one 50 W matrix from there.
I made such legs.
I took the carry handle from an unnecessary tool.
I installed a junction box on the back wall.
The radiator heats up to 40 degrees - this is normal. The lamp turned out to be heavy, it is inconvenient to carry without a handle.
That's how it shines ...
In most cases, the main reason for the unsatisfactory development of plants is poor illumination. Even in the middle lane, not to mention the more northern regions, in February, March and April, the light on the southern windowsill is not enough to grow high-quality seedlings of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers.
