While working in the workshop, a lot of dust is generated. In order to maintain a relative order, you often need to use a vacuum cleaner. And if with modern models of vacuum cleaners garbage gets into the container, then old models mostly use disposable bags to collect garbage. Permanent bag replacement is expensive. And on modern models, dust clogs the filters. An additional dust collector will help to correct the situation. Just such device and decided to make a master.
Tools and materials:
-Plastic bucket with a lid;
-Two elbows made of PVC;
-Two vacuum cleaner hoses;
-Adapter;
-Four screws;
-Glue;

-Gas-burner;
-Knife;
-Marker;
Step One: Connect the Elbow and the Hose
For the project, the author used two elbows 45 and 90about. Around the circumference of the wide part 45about The knee author drills four screw holes. Glue is applied on the inside of the knee. Connects the elbow to the suction pipe of the vacuum cleaner and fixes it with screws.
Step Two: Top
The knee end is applied to the center of the lid, circled with a marker. Drills a hole in the lid. Installs a knee in the hole. Apply hot melt adhesive to the joint.
Step Three: Connect Hose to Adapter
The author decided to make the suction hose of the dust collector removable. Cut off the wide end from the hose. It cuts the edge of the hose. For softening, it processes the burner and puts on an adapter on it.
Step Four: Install the Side Knee
Here the author uses a knee 90about. The top of the bucket makes a hole. Sets the knee as shown in the photo. Hot melt is applied to the junction, on both sides.
Step Five: Testing
It remains to connect the hose and check the dust collector in operation. As can be seen from the photographs during the test, all the garbage remained in the dust container.
