Tools and materials required for work
To create a chandelier, the author of the homemade product will use plastic disposable spoons. The frame of the design will be a plastic water bottle. If such a house is not available, it is not necessary to purchase a full container. You can buy only one bottle. Also, to make a chandelier you will need:
- stationery knife;
- nippers;
- glue gun;
- cartridge;
- light bulb.
Manufacturing process
The first thing you need to do is cut off the bottom of the bottle.
The next step is the preparation of plastic spoons. Using the nippers, we separate the holder (handle). This part of the cutlery will not be involved in the manufacture of the chandelier. The number of spoons that will be required will depend on the bottle. A 5 liter bottle will require approximately 200 cutlery. When everything is ready, you can begin the process of creating the original chandelier.
We take a plastic blank from a spoon and glue it to the bottle using a silicone stick. And so in a circle of the bottle.
The next row is done with an offset. So that the center of the spoon is between the other two of the previous row. When all rows are completed, it remains to close the neck of the bottle. Here you will need to place the spoons not in an upright position, but in a horizontal one. It should turn out a kind of "wreath"
When the ceiling is ready, it remains to install a cartridge in it and connect the wire to the mains.
Due to the fact that the entire structure is plastic, the author recommends installing an energy-saving or diode light bulb. Otherwise, if an incandescent lamp, especially of high power, is used, the structure will deteriorate (it will begin to melt).
If desired, you can use spoons of a different color or combine in several colors at once.
