First, let's look at what a brooder is and how it will help in growing poultry.
BRODER - (English brooder from brood to sit on eggs), a device for heating young farm birds in the first weeks of life. These are such peculiar "nurseries" for young growth. In nature, the role of the brooder is played by the mother bird. They ran, pecked, drank water and under the wing to mom. In artificial conditions, you need to do an "artificial mom."
In the manufacture of the brooder, a number of conditions must be observed:
1. The device must be durable. Chickens - creatures are tender and even the insignificant weight of a randomly dropped small plywood sheet can kill them.
2. In the first weeks of life, it is desirable to maintain a microclimate.
3. Draft is not allowed.
4. It is desirable that the brooder has a round shape. This is due to the fact that chickens are huddled in a flock. A chicken that gets into a corner can be crushed by its brethren.
Some make a brooder out of an ordinary cardboard box, but if you plan to grow chickens for more than one season, it is better to make a more solid construction.

From the chipboard cuts two round billets. In one blank, cuts a square opening.

Seventh step: electrical part
Lighting and heating of the brooder will be carried out by an incandescent lamp mounted inside the brooder. The lamp will be controlled by the temperature controller W1209. The temperature regulator works from 12V, the lamp from 220V. Mounts a chain.
